About the ADC Intern Karen Bartlett
Karen Bartlett holds a bachelor’s degree in social work (B.S.W) from Stockton University and will begin her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) in the fall. She also earned an associate’s degree in science with a concentration in addiction counseling from Ocean County College. Currently, Karen is working towards becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC).
Although new to the field, Karen brings exclusive knowledge of addiction and has experience working in both outpatient treatment and residential living settings for individuals with severe mental health concerns. Her approach to her work is rooted in kindness, empathy, and understanding, reflecting her commitment to helping others navigate their recovery journeys.
Karen is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves, using her education and personal insights to support individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving their goals. Her passion for social work and addiction counseling drives her to continually learn and grow in her career.
