About the Executive Director Brenda Santos MS, LPC, LCADC, NCC, CCS
Having experienced addiction firsthand, Brenda is deeply committed to reducing the stigma surrounding addiction and helping individuals achieve fulfilling and successful lives. Her personal insights and professional expertise drive her dedication to providing compassionate and effective care to those in need.
Brenda Santos is a dually licensed clinician as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in the state of New Jersey as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. Brenda has also supervised many interns and professionals obtaining licensure as she is an Advanced Clinical Supervisor and Certified Clinical Supervisor.
She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University, with a concentration in Addiction Studies, and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Montclair State University and an MBA in Healthcare Administration and Economics from William Paterson University.
Brenda has extensive experience working with adults and adolescents who have mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Her diverse work experience includes roles in Detox, Residential, Partial Care, Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, intensive in-home counseling, and private practice settings.
Brenda also has extensive experience in supervising and running substance use facilities clinically and administratively.
Her dedication to providing comprehensive care and her commitment to professional growth make her an asset in the field of mental health and addiction counseling.
