Raquel has been working in the field since 2010, providing services across Probation, Parole, Recovery Court, DCP&P, IDRC, private insurance, and private pay settings. As a therapist, she believes in using individualized, evidence-based approaches that meet each person where they are.
She is a CADC, Master Reiki practitioner, mindfulness and meditation teacher, Anger Management Therapist, Nicotine Cessation specialist, and Trauma therapist. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, which allows her to connect with and support a diverse range of clients.
Outside of her professional work, she is a mother and an avid gardener. She enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for her animals, including ducks, a turkey, certified therapy goats, and chickens. She is deeply committed to continued growth and learning in the field.
