Clients choose Quantum Behavioral Health because we offer multiple levels of care, including partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programming, and dual diagnosis treatment. Although we do not offer residential treatment at our rehab facility, many of our network partner addiction treatment centers do. We can refer you to partnering inpatient rehab treatment centers in Kentucky if you need that degree of support. At our recovery center, clients can attend outpatient treatment programs that are individualized for their needs. We offer a wide range of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, relapse prevention, denial management, health and wellness, 12 step facilitation, and many more.

Quantum Behavioral Healthy offers outpatient treatment programs that are customized for clients’ needs. While we do not offer residential inpatient medically assisted alcohol detox or inpatient rehab programs, we can refer clients to our area network partners who do offer these programs. We offer multiple levels of outpatient plans. After completing alcohol detox with a network partner rehab, clients can transition to our partial care or intensive outpatient treatment programs to get the alcoholism treatments they need to stay sober.

Drug Detox Program

Drug detox helps clients slowly overcome their dependence on prescription drugs like opioids or illicit drugs like crystal meth. If you need medical detox, our addiction specialists can refer you to a partner residential inpatient rehab in Kentucky that offers this type of program. After completing detox, clients can begin therapy that addresses the psychological and behavioral aspects of their condition.

Top Alcohol Rehab in Kentucky

Alcoholism is a chronic condition that is frequently progressive without treatment. Alcoholism will cause mental and physical health to deteriorate. Quantum’s outpatient treatment programs for alcohol addiction are customized for each person’s needs. Clients can expect to participate in individual as well as group therapies that are evidence based and holistic. Our various treatment approaches target all aspects of addiction, helping clients heal mentally as well as physically. We offer multiple levels of care so that clients who need more day-to-day support can obtain it. As clients grow in stability, they may transition to less intensive programming.

Drug Rehab in Kentucky

If you are addicted to illegal drugs such as heroin or meth or prescription drugs like opioid painkillers, you need a drug rehab center in Kentucky that offers effective addiction treatments. Many drugs are associated with high relapse rates. Our therapies help clients develop the skills and strategies they need to maintain their recovery progress and keep relapse at bay. As clients grow in stability, they may downgrade their treatment from partial hospitalization to regular outpatient treatments. We also encourage clients to attend aftercare programs that will help them keep their long-term recovery on track.

How Much Does Rehab Cost in Kentucky?

The cost of rehab treatment varies depending on how long you require addiction treatments. At Quantum, we are committed to providing accessible and affordable addiction treatment. We accept many forms of insurance as well as private payment. It may be helpful to remember that residential treatment programs are necessarily more costly because they provide room, board, and 24-hour supervision. Quantum features partial care (i.e. partial hospitalization) and outpatient programs, so our costs may seem less than a residential rehab. However, our addiction treatments are clinically driven and associated with recovery success. Contact our enrollment specialists to discuss the costs of our treatment programs in relation to the type of program and treatments you need.

How Long Is Detox?

Detox programs generally last for 5-7 days. However, some people are able to complete detox in three days, and some individuals may need a bit longer than one week to complete detox. The type of drug the individual is addicted to can impact the time frame. The length of time the person has been addicted to the drug and if they have poly drug addiction can also affect their medical detox process. A person’s own unique chemistry can also impact the time for them to complete the process. After they’ve been weaned from drugs or alcohol in detox, they can then begin the next phase of their addiction treatment plan.

How Long Is Rehab?

Drug and alcohol rehab programs at Quantum are flexible to ensure that each client has time to meet their treatment milestones and learn how to manage their addiction effectively. Some people simply require more time in rehab than others. Some drugs are more highly addictive or the individual has been abusing drugs or alcohol for a longer period of time. Others may have a dual diagnosis. Recovery is a gradual process, and each person needs time and space to develop strategies for coping with their triggers to use drugs and alcohol. Often, as clients grow in stability, they will transition from a more intensive recovery program to a less intensive one as they begin the process of rebuilding their lives.

30 Day (Short Term Rehab)

Short-term rehab programs run for about 30 days. For many clients, 30 days of high-quality addiction treatment suffices to help them manage their addiction. During their 30 days of rehab treatment, clients will participate in individual and group counseling in order to learn to identify and then manage their triggers to drink or abuse drugs. Many people who complete a 30 day partial care or intensive outpatient treatment program will transition to a regular outpatient program designed to help them transition back to their everyday lives. Aftercare programs are certainly recommended for clients who have completed a 30-day treatment plan. Ongoing support can be helpful, especially in the first year after rehab.

Long Term Rehab

Many clients find that 30 days of rehab center treatment isn’t enough time for them to get the support they need to achieve their recovery milestones. This is perfectly normal. It’s important for clients to heal at their own pace. It’s not a race. The goal is to learn how to manage substance use disorders successfully. That may take one month or it may take three. It’s not uncommon for a person who has been addicted to drugs or alcohol for many years to require a longer addiction treatment center program. Someone who has a dual diagnosis may also prefer to spend 60 days or more in formal treatment designed to treat both of their cooccurring disorders. At Quantum, we individualize treatment. Clients can get the support they need as long as they need it.

Additional Therapies & Addiction Treatments Available

Quantum Behavioral Health offers many different treatment approaches so that we’re able to address each aspect of a person’s addiction. Our core treatment programs include evidence based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy that are known for their success rates in the treatment of substance use disorders. We also offer holistic therapies that enhance the addiction recovery process. Whether clients are experiencing opioid use disorders, a crystal meth addiction, or another substance abuse disorder, we can treat them with compassion and expertise. We are able to tailor our substance abuse treatments to suit clients’ individual needs.

Does My Insurance Have Coverage for Rehab?

Today, legislation has been passed that requires medical insurance providers to cover mental health treatment and substance abuse treatment. Coverage levels vary from one provider to another and from one plan to another. When you contact Quantum, we can verify insurance, discuss your specific insurance coverage, and also discuss alternative payment options if you choose. Navigating insurance questions can feel overwhelming, but our staff members are highly experienced. We can help you get through the enrollment process quickly so that you can access the substance abuse treatment you need.

MAT

As a comprehensive treatment center, Quantum features a full lineup of leading addiction treatments, including medicationassisted treatment MAT. This type of therapy uses medications to reduce cravings and prevent withdrawal symptoms for some clients. Medicationassisted treatment is most effective for treating opioid use disorders like heroin addiction. Alcoholism treatments often include MAT as it’s effective for reducing cravings to drink. MAT isn’t a cure for substance abuse problems but it does support recovery. When unburdened by intensive cravings and withdrawal symptoms, clients find it easier to focus on their other substance abuse treatments.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a conventional medically sanctioned addiction therapy. It has been embraced by top treatment centers in Kentucky as well as throughout the country. During this form of talk therapy, clients work with their therapist to understand the connections between their thoughts and feelings and how they drive their ‘automatic’ behaviors. Clients learn to identify the triggers that lead them to unhealthy behaviors like drug abuse. Then, they can create strategies to manage those triggers.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Similar to cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy DBT focuses on distress tolerance. Negative emotions like fear and anger can be major triggers to abuse drugs and alcohol. Substance abusers can ward off relapse more effectively when they’re able to tolerate stress and negative emotions with improved coping skills. Like CBT, DBT is an evidence-based addiction treatment that has been clinically shown to be highly effective.

Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy

Another form of talk therapy and similar to cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy focuses on unhealthy thoughts and values. Problematic thoughts, like negative emotions, can drive someone to abuse alcohol and drugs. Therapists help clients confront their problematic thoughts and beliefs so that they can transform them and prevent them from triggering substance abuse.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment

Dual diagnosis treatments are designed to help clients who have cooccurring disorders, which include a substance abuse disorder like crystal meth addiction or alcohol addiction and a mental illness like depression or post traumatic stress disorder. Simultaneous treatments at drug and alcohol treatment centers like Quantum help clients manage both conditions at the same time. That’s important because an untreated condition can negatively impact the other condition. Someone struggling with substance abuse and mental illness in Kentucky can get the dual diagnosis treatments they need at our rehab facility. Treatments for dual diagnosis often include medically assisted therapy, medications, and other treatments that address their individual needs.

EMDR

EMDR is short for eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. This type of therapy can be especially helpful for clients whose alcohol or drug abuse issues are triggered by past traumatic events they either experienced or witnessed. Coping with the emotions associated with trauma can be stressful. EMDR helps change the way the brain stores and processes these emotions. The changes can lead to improvements in the way that people cope. EMDR therapy may be ideal for clients who have a dual diagnosis involving post traumatic stress disorder or simply have unresolved past trauma that’s driving their substance abuse problem.

Relapse Prevention

Although relapse can happen to anyone, some clients may be at increased risk for one reason or another. Clients who have a higher risk of relapsing can benefit from relapse prevention therapy. During these therapy sessions, clients will focus specifically on learning how to identify high-risk situations that make them more vulnerable to relapse. Avoiding these situations is important, especially when clients are still unstable and learning how to manage their triggers effectively. The skills and techniques learned in relapse prevention therapy can help them protect their recovery progress. Many other therapies offered at Quantum also focus on helping clients identify the stages of relapse and developing strategies for reducing their risks of relapse.

Life Skills Training

At Quantum, we provide comprehensive treatment offerings. Some of our treatments are not medically based but support long-term recovery. Life skills training is highly effective for helping clients rebuild a healthy and stable life, which supports their continued recovery journey. In life skills training, we focus on skills like time management, healthy living, communication, and other important elements that clients may need to improve upon in order to lead a successful, productive, and, ultimately, rewarding life.

Vocational Training

Vocational training supports clients who need help improving their work skills. Some clients have a job, but many will need to find work after completing their outpatient programs. We strive to help them learn new skills that will support them in their chosen careers. Some clients are considering changing their career path. Some may simply need to brush up on workplace skills they haven’t used in a while. With some vocational support, clients can more easily reintegrate back into the workplace, which is an important part of getting their lives on track.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a core part of drug and alcohol rehab. During therapist-led group sessions, participants focus on topics that are relevant to the recovery process. These are topics that are important for all clients to address. During discussions and activities, clients can support one another, helping to create a positive, healing environment. Today, most addiction treatment centers include group therapy in both inpatient rehab and outpatient rehab programs. Quantum features both individual therapy and group therapy to provide clients with the comprehensive level of support they need to achieve their recovery goals.

Experiential Therapy

Many people find it difficult to talk about their feelings or to express their thoughts effectively. This can impact their therapy sessions. That’s why Quantum offers experiential therapy to provide clients the opportunity to express themselves in other ways. Experiential therapies like music therapy or art therapy allow clients to communicate with different mediums. Although these therapies don’t replace talk therapies, they do complement them and certainly enhance recovery for many individuals.

One on One Therapy

One on one therapy is a cornerstone of quality addiction treatment. Although group therapy is also extremely helpful, individual therapy allows clients to work through various issues that are unique to their situation. Therapists can help clients address their own personal issues in order to develop strategies for managing their addiction. Each client has their own unique triggers, which may involve a mental health disorder. During one-on-one sessions, clients and therapists can focus on those triggers and issues in ways that they can’t during group sessions.

Family Therapy

Loved ones frequently suffer as a result of drug and alcohol addiction too. Watching their loved one struggle with addiction can take a toll on the family and individual relationships. During family therapy, a therapist helps family members understand how substance use disorders affect their loved one and how they can support the recovery process. It’s not uncommon for serious breaches to occur between family members because of the client’s unhealthy behaviors. Family members may find it difficult to trust or communicate. Therapists can help families work through their issues and spur the healing process for all. Quantum offers family therapy for clients and families who are interested in adding this therapy to their treatment plan.

Trauma-Informed Therapy

People who have experienced traumatizing events in their lives may turn to drugs and alcohol. This isn’t uncommon. Unfortunately, substance abuse only makes their problems worse. Trauma informed therapy is a form of treatment that takes past trauma into account. Coping better with the past traumatic event or events is an important strategy for promoting recovery. Someone who has been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder can benefit from trauma informed therapy, but it may also be useful for treatment other cooccurring disorders. The negative emotions associated with trauma are powerful triggers. Managing them is one key to relapse prevention.

Physical Fitness

Physical fitness is a helpful holistic offering at many rehab centers. Exercise and working out can dispel feelings of stress and negative emotions, which can lead to substance abuse relapse. Clients rely on various strategies for coping with their negative emotions, and physical fitness is a popular one that often works quite well. When someone is jogging or even walking, their bodies release feel-good endorphins that target sore muscles but also flood the brain. This allows people to naturally feel better while also engaging in a healthy activity that’s good for their body. Someone doesn’t have to be athletic to benefit from physical fitness. Working out at their own level is healthful as well as therapeutic.

Off-Site Activities

Clients enrolled at Quantum may have opportunities to participate in off-site activities designed to foster recovery as well as stress reduction. As clients transition back to their lives without drugs or alcohol, they must discover new activities–new ways to enjoy life while remaining sober. Off site activities with other recovering individuals provide them the chance to break from their typical therapy routine to experience something new. Being with other people striving to achieve their recovery goals can feel inspiring to clients as they begin the process of moving on with their life in the context of sobriety. Off-site activities might involve seeing a movie, play, or hiking in the countryside. Many clients find these breaks in therapy to be enjoyable as well as therapeutic in their own right.

Holistic Addiction Treatment in Kentucky

Holistic treatment is an excellent complement to traditional medically sanctioned therapies. Alcohol and drug addictions affect most aspects of a person’s life. Holistic therapies support the whole-person recovery. We help clients become mindful of their overall health and well-being. Eating right, sleeping properly, physical fitness–these activities support lasting recovery. Because substance use disorders affect the mind, body, and spirit, recovery programs that feature holistic therapies can support mind, body, and spiritual healing. Quantum is among many nationwide rehab centers that have begun to incorporate holistic treatments like art therapy, yoga, nutrition, and mindfulness in our treatment programs. Holistic treatments help our clients build a strong foundation for their continued recovery.

Anxiety Disorder

Anxiety disorder, specifically in reference to generalized anxiety disorder, is characterized by persistent and often intense worry. In some cases, anxiety attacks can come on quickly and peak with a panic attack. The worry and fear associated with anxiety disorders are often far out of proportion with surrounding circumstances, but the sufferer cannot control their worry–at least without treatment that helps them manage their condition. Both treatment and medications can be effective for treating generalized anxiety and related anxiety disorders. Benzodiazepines are often prescribed to treat anxiety, but these medications can lead to a benzodiazepine addiction. Many treatment providers now only prescribe benzodiazepines in the short term and prescribe antidepressants for long-term treatment. Antidepressants like SSRIs have proven to be very effective for reducing the symptoms of anxiety without causing addictions.

Bipolar Disorder

A person suffering from borderline personality disorder is often vulnerable to relationship problems, substance abuse, and other problems because they struggle to regulate their emotions and behaviors. Their impulsiveness can magnify the compulsions to drink or use drugs if they have a substance addiction. Intense mood swings, unpredictable behavior, and a pattern of instability are often the hallmarks of this mental illness. People with this disorder are also at increased risk of self harm and suicidal thoughts. Quantum offers dual diagnosis treatments. Clients who have a borderline personality disorder as well as an addiction to drugs or alcohol can benefit from simultaneous treatments of both conditions. With treatment, clients can improve their management of borderline personality disorder and end their dependence on drugs or alcohol.

Borderline Personality Disorder

Borderline personality disorder affects the way a person feels about themselves and others and causes difficulty connecting to other people. Symptoms include unstable relationships, impulsive and self-destructive behavior, self-harm, mood swings and a fear of abandonment.

Codependency

Codependency involves unhealthy attachments between people. In a codependent relationship, one individual needs to be needed while the other needs the support of the other. In a simpler sense, one person gives and gives while the other takes and takes. Codependency is dysfunctional and is often a factor in relationships where the individual in need is the substance abuser and the giver is the individual who often enables the unhealthy behaviors of the others. For example, a codependent spouse might cover for a spouse who abuses drugs. Providing an unhealthy level of support without consequences for negative behaviors helps to perpetuate those behaviors. During family therapy, codependency among loved ones is a common occurrence in substance abuse situations. Therapists can work with clients and family members to help them identify unhealthy relationship behaviors that involve codependency so they can strive to change them.

Depression

Depression is a common mental illness that will ultimately affect one in five adults at some point in their lives. Depression can be debilitating when left untreated. Some people turn to drugs and alcohol to self-medicate their feelings of depression, which can exacerbate the problem. Like drug and alcohol addiction, depression can be managed. People suffering from depression can benefit from counseling as well as medications. Although depression can present with any type of substance use disorder, it often accompanies alcoholism. At Quantum, we can treat depression and other cooccurring disorders. Not all addiction treatment centers are able to treat mental health disorders like depression, but Quantum can.

Impulse Control Disorder

An impulse control disorder can be a serious mental health condition, but it can be managed. These disorders are marked by an apparent inability to maintain self-control and to engage in destructive or wrong behaviors. When it occurs with an opioid addiction or any other addiction, it can be more difficult to manage. That’s why dual diagnosis treatment that targets both the mental health disorder and addiction is crucial. Someone with an impulse control disorder often begins to experience symptoms during adolescence and onward. Impulse control disorders, including kleptomania and pyromania, frequently occur with substance use disorders. Therapy and medication are often used to treat impulse disorders effectively.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Post-traumatic stress disorder is a serious mental illness that stems from experiencing or witnessing trauma or traumas. Symptoms of this disorder, which can be debilitating, often include flashbacks to the traumatic event, anxiety, and nightmares. Often, people who have this condition find it difficult to control their thoughts and emotions which continually ‘return’ to their memories of the event. It’s not uncommon for people with PTSD to turn to prescription drugs, illicit drugs, or alcohol to help quell their relentless symptoms. However, abusing those substances can quickly turn to addiction. Quantum provides treatment for PTSD and addiction. Treatment often includes medications like antidepressants as well as various types of therapy, including trauma-informed therapy and sometimes EMDR.
